Intrigue<\/em> is my third book. My first two books, Under the Spell of Matunuck<\/em> and Matunuck Beach<\/em> both capture the essence of the small coastal village of Matunuck in the southern part of Rhode Island. Intrigue<\/em> is different. It does not have a central location that unites each picture but relies on the theme of intrigue to make each picture interesting, thought provoking, and intriguing. I spent a lot of time as a teenager looking at books of photography. My favorites were the collections of photographs that appeared in the various annuals published by the photography magazines. Each picture was like a portal to a different time and place. The pictures in Intrigue<\/em> span almost six decades of photography and represent the many journeys that David has had in life, both physical and emotional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
