The many walks with my cameras exploring the mystique of Matunuck provided the images in this book, spanning the almost three decades that we have made Matunuck our home. This is not a historical book because it shows Matunuck through the eyes of a photographer looking for images, not a historian seeking the truth. The beach, the surf, the people, the houses, the bars, stores, shops, the farms and neighborhoods are all themes that I draw upon. Some photographers like to find new places to shoot, I prefer to find the new in old places. Things are always changing. The beach changes the most. One day it is a vast stretch of sand, the next day it is a wasteland of shells shimmering in the sunlight and the next, a carpet of red seaweed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This soft cover book features almost a hundred color photographs of Matunuck printed on high quality paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
